On the night of August 3, 1999, heavy torrential rains caused a landslide that killed 58 people and buried over 100 houses at Cherry Hills Subdivision in Antipolo City, Rizal province, Philippines. The landslide was primarily caused by the heavy rains of the approaching Typhoon Olga.
