Bataan Death March- The Commander responsible...
Masaharu Homma (本間 雅晴 Homma Masaharu, November 27, 1887 – April 3, 1946) was a lieutenant general in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. Homma commanded the Japanese 14th Army which invaded the Philippines and perpetrated the Bataan Death March. After the war, Homma was convicted of war crimes relating to the actions of troops under his direct command and executed by firing squad on April 3, 1946.

Imelda and the Inverted Tiara
At the Imperial Ball of the Shah of Iran in 1971, where all the royalty in the world were invited, Imeldific Marcos brought a tiara. Christina Ford warned her, "Meldy, you cannot wear that tonight. It's a royal reception and only crowned heads and blue blood royalty can wear their crowns and tiaras".
Not to be outdone, she decided to wear her tiara upside down.
